What is Masna?

Masna provides a simple graphical interface (GUI) to manager Nautilus scripts:

  • For scripts that are part of the system-wide Nautilus script collection (by default /usr/share/nautilus-scripts, you can change this in the settings dialog of Masna) Masna manages symlinks in the user’s Nautilus script folder.
  • For scripts in the user’s Nautilus script folder Masna manages the file permissions.

Masna is available from the PPA (“Personal Package Archive”) ppa:diesch/testing for all current versions of Ubuntu. If you add this PPA to your software sources Ubuntu’s Update manager will automatically install newer versions of ClassicMenu Indicator when they are available.

If you don’t know how to do this see this explanation.

Depending on how busy the Launchpad build servers are it may take a few hours for the PPA to get new packages after a release.
